The "Stroup v-42" refers to the Green Beret Dagger and Heritage Dagger handcrafted by Stroup Knives. These blades pay direct homage to the historic World War II V-42 stiletto, which was famously carried by the First Special Service Force (the Devil's Brigade) and remains a prominent symbol on the U.S. Army Special Forces crest.

​The Green Beret Foundation is proud to officially partner with Stroup Knives in the production of the Green Beret Dagger—now the ceremonial blade issued to every U.S. Army Special Forces soldier upon graduation from the Special Forces Qualification Course.
